Trading & Logistics

From contract to discharge.

We structure transactions around the disciplines that make physical trades close.

01 · Contracting

Sale and purchase contracts on established international terms (Incoterms 2020 — typically FOB, CIF or CFR), with clear specification, quantity tolerance, laycan and settlement provisions.

02 · Inspection & quality

Independent inspection at load port by internationally recognised surveyors. Quality and quantity certificates form part of the documentary presentation.

03 · Settlement

Bank-intermediated settlement — documentary letters of credit or equivalent secure instruments through reputable banking channels. We do not engage in transactions premised on non-standard 'financial instruments' outside recognised banking practice.

04 · Logistics

Chartering and freight arranged through established brokers and owners, with marine cargo insurance placed on institutional terms.

Institutional practice

Recognised instruments. Recognised counterparties. Recognised law.

We do not participate in transactions premised on private instruments, prime bank guarantees, monetisation schemes, or any arrangement that sits outside the established practice of international banks and inspection houses.
